• Miss Camellia charity pageant was held in February 2021 with the entry fee being one new pair of children’s shoes.  The pageant benefitted Kicks for Kids, the GFWC Florida Juniors’ project. Over 20 pair of new shoes were presented to Cedar Grove Elementary School from this fundraiser, and the Juniors were delighted to host many beautiful, intelligent and kind contestants.

  • 1000+ pounds of non-perishable food donated to Cedar Grove Elementary School in an underserved area of Bay County.

  • The Juniors collected 30+ full size boxes of cereal and 30+ jars of peanut butter to assist Cedar Grove Elementary School’s participation in Bay District Schools’ “PB & Cereal food drive.” CGE Principal (Sheila Wojnowski) told us that our donations helped the school be recognized on the district level in April 2021.

  • 50+ pounds of oranges and 50+ pound of apples donated in just one week to local schools to supplement “backpack blessings” with fresh fruit (Big thanks to member Trish Boston for purchasing, transporting and delivering healthy snack alternatives!)

  • Clothes closet stocked at:

    • Cedar Grove Elementary

    • Hiland Park Elementary

  • Clothes & shoes donated to:

    • Family Social Services

    • First UMC Outreach Program

    • Council on Aging

  • Birthday cards sent to a local veteran on his 100th birthday in February 2021

  • Bedding donated to:

    • the “Welcome Home Project”

    • A Sheltering Tree

  • Diapers, baby wipes, child carseats, clothes (newborn-2T), formula & prenatal vitamins donated to:

    • Pregnancy Resource Center

    • A Sheltering Tree

  • Wreaths laid on veterans’ graves in Panama City in December 2020 (in partnership with Wreaths Across America)

  • Clothes (2T-5T) & toddler shoes donated to:

    • Children’s Home Society of Florida (to benefit children in foster care)

  • Blankets and towels donated to:

    • The Humane Society
